Picasso Owl: Mixed media Painting

Ages 7-14 – Wednesday 12th January, 1pm-2.30pm

The famous Spanish artist Pablo Picasso once found a little owl with a broken foot which he took home with him. He cured the owl and kept it in a cage in the kitchen of his apartment in Paris. The owl was the inspiration for several paintings that Picasso created. In this workshop, the young artists will enjoy painting an owl using a monochromatic earth coloured paint scheme and they will hide their name in the feathers just like Picasso did in one of his owl works.
